If you take drugs, you support terrorism. If you drive an SUV, you support terrorism.
Supporting Terrorism, apparently, has become the accusation du jour, much like being a member of the Communist party was in the 1950s. Don't like what someone's doing? Claim they're supporting terrorism.
The fact is, simply by living in the United States, it could be argued that each American supports terrorism by paying taxes to a government which is involved in most parts of the world and hated in many of them.
Let's stop the rhetoric before it gets out of hand. I'm not interested in seeing a new Joe McCarthy step out of the shadows and start labeling people "supporters of terrorism," and meaning it.
