Dick Cheney and I Agree for Once
Dick Cheney: “It’s absolutely essential that eight weeks from today, on Nov. 2, we make the right choice, because if we make the wrong choice then the danger is that we’ll get hit again and we’ll be hit in a way that will be devastating from the standpoint of the United States.”
You may be right, Dick. If we return yourself and Mr. Bush to office in November, we may be setting ourselves up for another terrorist attack. After all, you were asleep at the switch prior to 9/11, and your policies have done far more to bolster terrorist recruitment than anything Osama bin Laden could have done.
(By the way, I’m still trying to decide if this post is sarcastic or not. I think I’m “kidding on the square,” as Al Franken says.)
