Torture - Approved!
60 Senators voted in favor of torture today by voting in favor of Alberto Gonzales’ confirmation.
While I am pleased that both of my Senators (Boxer and Feinstein) voted against his confirmation (I was worried about Feinstein), I am extremely disappointed in the six Democrats who voted for torture: Salazar, Lieberman, Ben Nelson, Landrieu, Pryor, and Bill Nelson.
Dark times, indeed.
