Not as I do is apparently the mantra of our President, at least when it comes to aid to the developing world. Kevin Drum points out that in March, 2002, the President promised the following:
We will increase our development assistance by $5 billion over the next three budget cycles.
How much of this $5 billion has he actually requested? That would be $0.
I’m back in “bad blogger mode” - I just started a new job so things have been a bit hectic, and for some reason I’m not feeling very inspired at the moment.
In any case, I think I’ve identified the rendering problem with the new site - the temporary workaround is to reduce the font size in Firefox (View/Text Size/Decrease). As time permits, I will try to get a permanent resolution.
From what I’ve seen, the default font size in Firefox on the Mac works fine (which is why I missed this one), but the default font size in Firefox on Windows is slightly larger and causes the problem. IE does not appear to be affected.
